Roles and Responsibilities

The Web Developer would be a key player in TAG’s growth story, leading the vision from the front with the following roles:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications using modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant CMS platforms, ensuring visually appealing and functionally robust solutions.
• Proficient in WordPress development, plugin integration, performance optimization, and tailoring sites to meet specific client or project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into fully functional, user-friendly interfaces that provide an optimal experience across devices.
• Integrate APIs and third-party tools such as payment gateways, analytics platforms, and CRM systems to enhance website capabilities and improve business workflows.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO performance by applying best practices in coding, caching, and responsive design.
• Maintain organized, reusable code repositories and perform thorough QA, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, compatibility, and performance.
• Monitor and maintain website security and uptime, applying regular updates, security patches, and preventive measures to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure consistent site availability.

Requirements : The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in web development, preferably in eCommerce, SaaS, or tech-driven environments
• Proficient in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin integration, and site optimization
• Basic understanding of front-end and back-end development principles, responsive design, and user experience best practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework or library (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (such as WordPress, Shopify, or Web flow) and version control systems like Git
• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail, especially when debugging code, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
• A bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Prior internship experience, academic projects, or certifications in web development, UI/UX design, or related tools will be considered an added advantage

Pay: ₹21,000.00 per month
