Job Description

As a Server Infrastructure Lead at the bank, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of servers, operating systems, virtualization, backup, and storage infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, projects, maintaining infrastructure uptime, and leading a team of technicians and contractors to ensure compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage team responsible for Servers, Operating system, Virtualization, Backup, and Storage - Oversee Vendor management and ensure compliance with regulations - Implement Vulnerability and Patch management processes - Handle Budgeting, Audit, and Risk management for server infrastructure Qualification Required: - 15 to 20 years of experience in managing enterprise operations team - Strong leadership skills with technical expertise - Excellent communication, organizational, and personnel management skills - Degree in Computer Science or related subject preferred In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the position requires good knowledge of System Administration on Linux, Windows, Vmware, Enterprise storage, Openshift, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka. You should also have expertise in Security Management, ITIL processes, and control & management tools like Altiris, TSM, SSM, DLP. Familiarity with SAN, S3, NAS storage management and experience in BCP and DR drills for the bank are advantageous. Your core competencies should include strong knowledge of Windows, Virtualization, and Linux operating systems, Project Management, Analytical/Logical/Creative/Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Planning/Strategizing/Negotiation, Problem Solving, Supervision Management, Leadership & Motivation, and Interpersonal/Written Communication. You will need to demonstrate strong matrix management skills, including influence, conflict resolution, and negotiation, as well as medium to large team people management. Building excellent relationships and networking within the organization will be key to success in this role.,
