As a skilled and visionary Technical Manager specializing in Backup & Disaster Recovery (DR), you will be responsible for leading and modernizing the global data protection strategy at Siemens Healthineers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safeguarding of Healthineers data assets against ransomware threats, enhancing cyber resiliency, and implementing cutting-edge DR solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: - Leading the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of a unified backup and DR platform across all Siemens Healthineers locations. - Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and industry trends such as immutable backups, cloud-native DR, BaaS, and DRaaS. - Migrating disparate backup solutions to a single enterprise-grade solution, leveraging technologies like Commvault. - Designing and enforcing backup strategies that defend against ransomware and other advanced threats. - Implementing modern cyber-resilient features including immutable backups, air-gap protection, forensic clean rooms, and automated anomaly detection and alerting. - Defining and ensuring alignment with business continuity strategies, recovery point objectives (RPO), and recovery time objectives (RTO). - Automating and conducting regular DR drills and post-mortem analyses to validate recovery readiness. - Leading and managing ITSM processes including incident, request, change, and problem management across backup and DR services. - Ensuring high availability and SLA compliance for backup/DR operations through proactive monitoring and reporting. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery aligned with ITIL best practices. - Overseeing the budgeting, cost tracking, and optimization of backup and DR services. - Supporting business case development for tool consolidation and infrastructure investment. - Leading a global or distributed team of engineers and specialists, developing staff through coaching, training, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (Master's preferred). - 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with 4+ years in a technical management or leadership position. - Experience with on-premises and cloud-native backup and recovery technologies. - Experience with Disaster Recovery solutions for both cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS) and on-premise environments. - Strong background in protecting data against ransomware and enhancing cyber resiliency. - Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks, preferably ITIL v4 certified. - Experience in managing global backup/DR migrations and solution unification projects. In terms of technical skills, you will need: - Experience in managing and designing Commvault-based backup environments. - Experience with on-premises and cloud-native backup/DR and recovery tools such as Commvault, Cohesity, Azure Backup, VMWare Site Recovery Manager, and Azure Site Recovery. - Experience implementing immutable backups, anomaly detection, and recovery solutions to withstand ransomware attacks. - Practical knowledge of configuring logical/physical air-gap architectures and immutable storage. - Experience backing up VMs, physical servers, databases, and integrating with platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, and SAN/NAS. - Proven ability to design, implement, and test DR strategies for both on-premise and cloud infrastructures. - Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ensuring backup solutions meet compliance and audit standards. - Experience with enterprise ITSM platforms like ServiceNow. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams. As a Storage Administrator at 3i Infotech, you will be responsible for collaborating with vendors for ticket logging, resolution, updates, and escalation. You will prepare and maintain a Preventive Maintenance calendar, review NAS access control, and manage Storage Volumes, LUN, Aggregate, Pool, S3 bucket, and Storage service levels. Additionally, you will oversee RAID or Array group management, S3 bucket provisioning, and configuration. Your role will involve performing diagnostic event logs, troubleshooting, and space utilization trend analysis. In this position, you will administer zoning, prepare MIR for major incidents, and review checklists. You will conduct repeat incident/alert analysis, certificate management, and SAN fabric expansion. Monitoring the health of storage app-specific suites and generating capacity management reports will also be part of your responsibilities. Your tasks will include fulfilling incident, request, and change management tasks, as well as integrating new devices into tools. You will be responsible for maintaining SAN infrastructure connectivity, managing storage/SAN upgrades, and handling data migration. Conducting monthly call analysis, managing replication reconfiguration, and auditing administrator accounts will also be part of your duties. You will manage Snapshot or Snap Mirror, prepare RCA for major incidents, and analyze repeat incidents/alerts. Implementing performance tuning as suggested by OEM and updating and maintaining FMEA, CFIA, availability, and capacity management will be crucial aspects of your role. As a Storage Administrator, you will perform risk analysis, develop mitigation plans, and execute continual service improvement plans. You will plan and conduct DR drills, prepare and update SOP and knowledge base, and maintain and update Infra AS IS/Infra documents. Overseeing incident, problem, and change management, including all minor and major updates/upgrades, will also be within your scope of responsibilities.,

Team Lead - IT DR would be responsible to ensure automation of all critical Business & Infra applications in CP tool. He would also be responsible for conducting and coordinating drills for all identified applications. He will have to own the CP tool and maintain it with any periodical changes and version upgrades. All documentations have to be maintained viz. Runbooks, Test reports, Annual DR drills etc Core Responsibilities: Operational Management: 1. Implement procedures for disaster recovery automation for on-prem and cloud solutions. 2. Good experience in engaging infrastructure and application teams to collaborate on discussions and requirements for disaster recovery including experience with recovery and system processes using CP tool. 4. Should have good understanding of IT infrastructure, application, and operations environment structure. 5. Able to work successfully as a member of a team through collaboration and support. 6. Review and update DR Automation plan and related docs. 7. Prepare and maintain annual DR calendar and ensure compliance towards execution of the drills. 8. Identifying areas of automation and automate the DR switchover, switchback & failover processes wherever possible. Experience & Knowledge: 6+ years of total experience, preferably 3+ years of experience in managing DR CP Tool. 1. Hands-on experience with IT DR tools.. 2. Basic knowledge on IT Infrastructure (Database, OS, VM, Storage, Middleware, and Network). 3. Good experience of DR operations and conducting DR drills. Education : Graduation in any stream or Diploma in Engineering from recognized university with relevant experience in DR operations and configuration of CP DR tool. Certification : Relevant DR related certification preferred but not mandatory.

Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst/Architect. 5-7 Yrs (DR Cordinator) 9-12 Yrs (DR Architect) Location - Bangalore,PAN India Position Purpose: Executes and supports the enterprise IT Disaster Recovery and I/S Crisis process with the goal to ensure that the Enterprise Critical I/S services and work processes can be resumed with agreed upon service and resumption levels. Leads in Disaster Recovery requirements gathering and recommends recovery strategies and options. Facilitates the implementation of recovery solutions. This role will support the delivery of Disaster Recovery Testing, Scope, Planning, communications, and test facilitation. Develops and implements a business recovery plan and procedure; review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols. Develops, maintains, and implements the Enterprise Disaster Recovery Plans, risk assessments, and application and technical strategies together with other teams. Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions. Drives the alignment of IT organization priorities and plans with key business objectives. Identifies, troubleshoots and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed. Creates and facilitates practice drills for plan execution. Develops and track program metrics (as developed) to show activities and progress. Reviews, configures and maintains business continuity and crisis management tools. Coordinates with health, safety, and security staff and local, state, and federal agencies to align the organization's emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.
