US IT Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Handle the complete recruitment life cycle for US IT staffing—sourcing, screening, negotiation, and placement.
• Source candidates via job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
• Understand client requirements for various IT positions and identify suitable candidates.
• Conduct preliminary screening to evaluate candidate experience, skills, visa status, availability, and rate expectations.
• Negotiate compensation rates (W2, C2C, 1099) and ensure compliance with US hiring standards.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients/hiring managers.
• Maintain relationships with consultants, vendors, and clients.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
• Track submissions, interviews, and pipeline updates in ATS and internal systems.
• Ensure timely onboarding and follow-up with selected candidates.
  

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in US IT recruitment (Bench sales experience is a plus).
• Good knowledge of US tax terms—W2, C2C, 1099.
• Familiarity with US visas such as H1B, GC, USC, TN, EAD, OPT/CPT, etc.
• Experience using US job portals: Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
• Ability to work in night shifts to support US EST/PST time zones.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of various IT technologies and skill sets.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or related field.
• Experience in working with direct clients and implementation partners.
• Knowledge of ATS systems and recruitment tools.
