Position: Business Development Representative

Company: Inspiroz IT Services Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR) to be the first point of contact for school leaders and administrators. Your primary objective is to set qualified first-time appointments for our sales team by conducting outbound prospecting, cold-calling, and targeted email outreach.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives on outreach, is comfortable engaging decision-makers, and wants to be part of a growing EdTech SaaS team with a product making a tangible impact in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting
  • Research and identify school leaders, district administrators, principals, and data/assessment leads who would benefit from a unified data analytics platform.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, education directories, and other sources.
  • Engagement & Outreach
  • Conduct high-volume cold calls daily to generate interest in Insights.
  • Write and send personalized email outreach sequences to school decision makers.
  • Qualifying & Appointment Setting
  • Ask discovery questions to confirm prospect fit (systems used, data challenges, decision-making process).
  • Secure first-time appointments for Account Executives / Solution Consultants.
  • Provide a smooth handoff with complete notes in HubSpot CRM.
  • CRM & Reporting
  • Log all activity, maintain up-to-date contact records, and track outreach metrics in HubSpot CRM.
  • Report weekly on progress and goal achievement: calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in outbound sales, business development, or SDR roles

    (preferably SaaS, Education Vertical, EdTech, or data products).

  • Strong verbal communication and comfort making cold calls.
  • Excellent writing skills for email outreach and thorough CRM note-taking.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (or similar).
  • Curiosity and ability to learn product messaging (data integration, dashboards, school analytics).
  • Resilience and persistence in handling outreach and rejection.

Working days - 5 days per week (Saturday & Sunday Fixed off)

Shift Time - 6.00 pm to 3.30 am (Fixed Night Shift)
