Job Title: Travel Sales Team Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel Sales Team Leader to lead, motivate, and support our travel sales team in achieving revenue targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for helping clients plan unforgettable travel experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of travel sales consultants to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs to support professional growth.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and customer-focused team environment.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all bookings and transactions are processed accurately and in line with company policies.
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and report performance to senior management.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with travel industry regulations, supplier contracts, and company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in travel sales, with at least 4–5 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the travel or hospitality industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret sales reports.
  • Customer-centric approach and problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales management tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • Team productivity and conversion rates.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Accuracy and compliance of bookings and transactions.
  • Team engagement and turnover rate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
