Job Title: Travel Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand our client base in both corporate and leisure travel segments. The role requires strong sales acumen, excellent client relationship management, and proven expertise in achieving targets within the travel industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and acquire new corporate and leisure clients.
  • Promote and sell travel packages, MICE, and customized itineraries.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Team Leadership & Target Achievement

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to meet individual and group targets.
  • Set KPIs and monitor sales performance regularly.
  • Provide training and support to enhance team productivity.

4. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, and travel partners.
  • Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure service quality.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.

5. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Recommend new travel products and promotional strategies.
  • Drive initiatives for business expansion and brand visibility.

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM data.
  • Present performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Knowledge of GDS/CRM tools preferred

Qualifications

  • Graduate/MBA in Travel, Tourism, or Business Management
  • 5–7 years of experience in travel sales/business development (corporate/MICE preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹257,744.58 - ₹748,938.91 per year
