Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role): Responsible for air conditioning testing of component level as well as system and car level. He should ensure the test matrix preparation as per LAH with component supplier. Responsible for preparation of testing time plan and tracking all testing activities. Monitor testing progress and highlight the risk well in advance. He must be responsible vehicle level testing car preparation and perform test. Responsible for synchronization with EG and ASL team for vehicle level test planned. Responsible for test result alignment with Head quarter for agreement. Must be responsible for release (BMG & K) document preparation. The candidate should be well aware of safety standards and homologation requirements. Must be responsible for fulfilling the check list requirements for BMG and K-release. Authority: Take a decision on failures for overcoming the problems in co-relation with development Lead Engineer in TCP and Headquarters. Authorized to decide test planning and execution. Authorize to decide the repetition of test based on test results. Suggest and guide suppliers for failure analysis and testing process optimization. Skills Required: Air conditioning component and system level know how Applications of raw materials and failure criteria. Understanding on testing and validation criteria Self-starting and self-motivation Ability to think in wider scope Should have CAN and LIN base knowledge & their software handling Individual and team player Ability to handle IMC BusdaqX / CANAPE VP data logger & modules Interpreting and analyzing results and data Able to handle off-board Diagnostic System on vehicle level Key Responsibilities &Tasks: Coordinates and methodically leads of entrusted Sub-group to implement the project tasks and reporting to relevant Lead & Team head about project progress. Contributes to setting test parameters and their optimization, including time plan, project goals. Single point contact for suppliers and other departments in India & other locations for SET C air conditioning components testing Analyze, prepare, propose and execute the testing of the entrusted parts in an efficient and appropriate way, incl. materials, technical solution proposal and technology for decision making or implementation Support to create the technical documentation for request for quotation (LAH), communicate with and coordinate suppliers by the development process. Work with component development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management Create testing documents and presentation for meetings on management level Testing support to local suppliers & Validating testing agencies and supplier testing Labs. Based on PEP (Product development process) guidelines ensure that the respective component testing milestones are completed within the stipulated time period and with the desired results Maintaining the project timeline and cost target.
