What you’ll do: Test Strategy Development: Lead the development of comprehensive test strategies for MDM systems, including both manual and automated testing approaches. Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of MDM functionality. Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for MDM systems, leveraging appropriate testing frameworks and tools. Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing where necessary, particularly for complex scenarios and edge cases that require human judgment. Validated System Testing: Ensure all testing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly for validated systems (e.g., GxP, FDA, etc.). Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. Test Environment Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of test environments, ensuring they accurately reflect production systems. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables. Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior testers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team. What you’ll bring : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS or related field with academic excellence 1-3 years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements. Proficiency in RDBMS concepts, SQL, and programming languages such as Python Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to convert intricate business requirements into technology solutions Knowledge of algorithms and data structures Additional Skills : Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or MDM platforms is a plus. Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration testing. Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
