Role Description

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new clients including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and wellness centers.

  • Promote specialized diagnostic tests (e.g., pathology, molecular, preventive, oncology) to drive test adoption.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets and maintain daily activity KPIs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for service-related queries and technical clarifications.

  • Conduct regular visits to key accounts to enhance engagement and introduce new offerings.

Territory Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Develop and execute structured route plans and daily call schedules.

  • Monitor competitor activities and gather market insights for internal reporting.

  • Participate in CMEs, physician engagement programs, and local marketing events.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Phlebotomy, Logistics, Customer Support, and Laboratory teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Address and resolve client concerns related to sample collection, turnaround time, quality, and billing.

Revenue Collection & Documentation

  • Follow up on outstanding payments from credit clients and ensure timely reconciliation.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client feedback, and follow-ups using CRM/MIS tools.

Reporting

  • Submit daily activity reports and territory performance summaries to the Area Business Manager.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong consultative sales capabilities in healthcare services.

  • Sound understanding of diagnostic tests and healthcare workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on service excellence.

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage territory operations effectively.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.

  • 2 - 4 years of field sales experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, pathology labs, or healthcare.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital engagement platforms (preferred).

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
