We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tender Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing tender opportunities for supplying of natural stone products and their installation. They will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in both public and private projects across India.
1. Identify tender opportunities across India for supplying and installation of natural stone products, focusing on sandstone, limestone, and granite, primarily for hardscaping and landscaping projects.
2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential tender opportunities, including government tenders, private projects, and collaborations with contractors and developers.
3. Prepare and submit tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in accordance with the requirements of each tender.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and project management, to gather necessary information and resources for tender submissions.
5. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the natural stone market.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, architects, and developers. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and identify potential business opportunities.
8. Provide support in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
9. Monitor and track the progress of tender submissions, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
10. Stay updated on relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to government tendering processes and compliance requirements.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in tender management, preferably in the natural stone industry or construction sector.
3. Strong understanding of government tendering processes, regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare compelling tender documents and presentations.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
6. Demonstrated negotiation skills and business acumen, with a track record of achieving successful outcomes in contract negotiations.
7. Proficiency in MS Office suite and tender management software/tools.
8. Willingness to travel frequently to attend meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
