Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Tender Management

  :
• Review and analyze tender notices and documentation from government, PSUs, and private clients.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, production, finance, technical) to gather all required inputs for bid submission.

• E-Bidding

  :
• Participate and manage tenders through various

  e-bidding portals

  (e.g., CPP Portal, GeM, NTPC, SAIL, BHEL, IOCL, etc.).
• Ensure timely registration, login, document uploads, and bid submissions as per portal requirements.
• Track and monitor live e-bids, reverse auctions, and respond to technical queries during online bidding.

• Tender Document Preparation

  :
• Prepare and compile both technical and commercial bid proposals in compliance with client requirements.
• Coordinate submission of supporting documents, certifications, and prequalification data.

• Pricing & Costing

  :
• Coordinate with finance/procurement teams to prepare competitive pricing, taking into account production costs, margins, and market conditions.

• Client & Vendor Interaction

  :
• Liaise with customers, vendors, consultants, and third parties to resolve queries and ensure clarity on tender requirements.

• Documentation & Record-Keeping

  :
• Maintain proper records of all tenders submitted, including copies of documentation, clarifications, and communications.

• Market Intelligence

  :
• Monitor upcoming tenders, competitor analysis, pricing trends, and new opportunities in steel and manufacturing projects.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Experience

  :
• 2–8 years of hands-on experience in tendering, bidding, and e-bidding, preferably in

  manufacturing or steel industry

  .

• E-Bidding Platforms

  :
• Working knowledge of

  government and private e-tendering portals

  like CPPP, GeM, MSTC, NTPC, E-Tender India, etc.

• Industry Exposure

  :
• Strong understanding of steel or industrial product specifications, costing structures, and project documentation.

• Technical Skills

  :
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & Word), PDF editing tools, and e-tender portals.

• Communication

  :
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare professional documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Education

  :
• Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Business Administration or related field.
• Additional certifications in tender management or supply chain is an advantage.
