MIS & Reporting - Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for production, consumption, inventory, manpower, breakdowns, and KPIs. - Generate dashboards, trend charts, and performance analysis using Excel, SAP, or other ERP tools. - Consolidate department-wise reports and share with management on time. - Prepare variance analysis (Plan vs. Actual) for production and raw material consumption. B. Data Management & Analysis - Collect data from production, maintenance, stores, logistics, and quality departments. - Validate data accuracy; identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections. - Perform data analysis for cost optimization, productivity improvement, and loss identification. - Support management with custom analytical reports as needed. C. SAP Operations - Input and extract data related to production, raw material usage, inventory, and dispatch. - Ensure correct mapping of material codes, BOM, and plant process entries. Coordinate with IT/SAP team for system issues or enhancements. D. Inventory & Material Monitoring - Track RM/PM/consumables inventory, wastage reports, and material movement. - Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages/excess. - Prepare consumption vs. standard usage reports for cost control. E. Compliance & Documentation - Maintain documentation for audits (ISO, Safety, Quality, Statutory). - Support regulatory reporting by providing required data. - Ensure secure and systematic record-keeping. F. Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments. - Assist management in decision-making with real-time data insights. - Support improvement projects and digital initiatives. 3. Skills & Competencies Required Technical Skills - Strong command over Excel (Advanced) – pivot tables, macros, charts, dashboards. - Good working knowledge of SAP / ERP systems. - Understanding of steel plant operations (production processes, raw materials, finished goods). - Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau (preferred). Qualifications & Experience Education: B.Com / BBA / B.Sc. / Diploma / B.Tech / MBA (preferred). Experience: 5–10 years of MIS experience in a manufacturing / steel / heavy engineering industry. Knowledge of SAP is highly preferred. 5.
