Job Summary The Technical Sales Engineer – OEM will be responsible for driving sales and business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with OEM clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to identify customer needs, propose suitable solutions, and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEM customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the OEM sector. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas. Technical Support & Consultation Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable products or solutions. Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to customers. Work closely with the engineering and product teams to develop customized solutions. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to the products. Quotations & Negotiations Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to customers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders. Customer Relationship Management Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure seamless service delivery. Regularly update CRM systems with customer interactions and sales activities. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts. Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance. Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events as required. Key Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in technical sales with a focus on OEM customers. Experience in selling industrial equipment, automation products, sensors, or related technical solutions is preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of industrial/OEM products. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
