Expedia Technology teams partner with our Product teams to create innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees. A singular technology platform powered by data and machine learning provides secure, differentiated, and personalized experiences that drive loyalty and traveler satisfaction. As a TPM III on the Trip Companion team, you will help shape the future of travel by driving critical initiatives that reduce friction and elevate the traveler experience. Our mission is to maximize the joy of travel by reducing the burdens of arranging the perfect trip and ensuring that travelers feel supported throughout their journey. This role will lead high-impact initiatives within the Trip Management domain, supporting outcomes under Pre, During and Post Trip Experiences, that are needed to facilitate and expedite the end-to-end traveler journey.
This TPM is needed to drive critical initiatives for Trip Management, supporting outcomes under Pre, During and Post Trip Experiences, that are needed to facilitate and expedite the end-to-end traveler journey. In this role, you will:

  • Lead increasingly complex technical projects that require coordination across teams and organizations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure program success, while driving execution aligned with strategic goals.
  • Define and implement processes to improve team execution and delivery
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive decisions and ensure alignment with business context
  • Manage quarterly planning for the space, project schedules for individual programs
  • Drive process improvements by assessing bottlenecks and coordinating execution of new approaches
  • Apply systems thinking to develop holistic solutions that connect people, process, and technology
  • Support the product development lifecycle to reduce time to market and improve product quality
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and guiding program delivery in alignment with business objectives
  • Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences


Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in a technical environment.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying structured process skills and techniques to improve team efficiency and program outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, from idea generation to bringing a product to market.
  • Experience in proactive risk management, including anticipating risks and leading mitigation planning.
  • Experience implementing and managing testing, monitoring, and alerting practices to ensure program health and reliability.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others through Agile ceremonies.
