We find this vision of the future exhilarating. Our hopes and dreams are to create this future as quickly as possible and ensure that it is widely distributed and optimized to maximize all forms of human excellence. Role Overview At Amura Health, we’re not just designing digital experiences, we’re reimagining how healthcare feels. Our mission is to reverse chronic disease at scale through behavior design, AI, and evidence-based care. That means building products that aren't just functional, but emotionally resonant. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on design leader to own the entire UX/UI charter across Amura’s ecosystem. You’ll work closely with our founding team, to shape experiences that are clinically effective, radically simple, and deeply human. This role blends high-level strategic ownership with hands-on design craft. It’s ideal for someone who can think in systems but also sweat the details, build high-performing teams, and isn’t afraid to start from first principles. What You’ll Own Strategic Design Leadership: Define and drive the end-to-end UX/UI strategy across mobile apps, web platforms, and internal tools. Translate complex clinical and behavioral science requirements into intuitive and elegant experiences. Partner directly with the founding team and cross-functional leaders to align design with product, tech, and care goals. Build scalable design systems that support rapid experimentation while maintaining brand integrity. Infuse AI and automation into user flows and internal design operations where meaningful. Benchmark key metrics against industry standards and historical performance to identify strategic gaps and growth opportunities. Execution & Delivery: Lead the team in designing wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect visuals using Figma and AI-enhanced tools. Set high standards for design output and ensure consistent execution across all platforms and touchpoints. Champion usability testing and real-world validation to inform design decisions. Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to refine UX, run A/B tests, and measure impact on user behavior. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Medical, and Marketing teams to build seamless end-to-end experiences. Represent user experience in leadership and strategy meetings — speaking both the language of empathy and metrics. Translate product KPIs into experience KPIs, and tie design decisions to measurable business and health outcomes Team Management & Culture: Grow, mentor, and inspire a world-class UX/UI team — balancing autonomy with alignment. Define design best practices, review work for quality, and set performance standards. Help shape and protect a design culture that values speed, feedback, humility, and impact. Hire, onboard, and retain top design talent who thrive in Amura’s fast, mission-driven environment. What We’re Looking For: 8–12+ years of UX/UI design experience in high-growth, product-led companies. A strong portfolio that demonstrates deep user empathy, system thinking, and stunning visual design. 3+ years of experience leading design teams, ideally across multiple platforms (web, mobile, internal tools). Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools; bonus for comfort with AI plugins and early-stage experimentation. Strong grasp of accessibility standards, interaction design, and behavioral UX. Bonus: Experience in healthcare, wellness, startup or regulated industries with complex user workflows. Here are answers to some questions you may have Who is Amura? Role Overview We’re looking for bold, original, brand-first Creative Director who can craft big ideas, push boundaries, and bring conceptual clarity to our campaigns and messaging. In this role, you won’t manage a creative team directly. Instead, you’ll operate as a powerful upstream thinker, working closely with the CMO, Brand, and Product teams to originate concepts, craft narratives, and translate ideas into creative briefs for execution by our art directors, designers, and video team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment, someone who thinks at the intersection of culture, communication, and purpose, and has the courage to tell fresh stories about health, transformation, and identity. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CMO and Brand team to originate big campaign ideas, content narratives, and communication directions across multiple channels (film, digital, performance, in-product). Translate business objectives and cultural insights into clear creative platforms and brand stories. A strong, idea-driven portfolio that showcases conceptual thinking, multi-channel execution, and narrative clarity. Experience working with brand, content, and leadership teams on upstream creative development. Excellent verbal and visual storytelling skills you can bring people into the idea and make them feel it. Experience in health, wellness, or human transformation spaces is a plus — but not a must. Familiarity with how creative ideas get executed across brand films, digital, social, ATL, and performance channels. Billions of healthier brains, sitting in healthier bodies, can take up more complex problems that defy solutions today, including many existential threats, and solve them in just a few decades.
