As a system designer, the architect will be responsible for designing the complete system architecture, including application structure, data management, integration methods, and security frameworks, and selecting the most suitable platforms, tools, and frameworks to meet project requirements. The architect will also act as a decision maker, evaluating trade-offs such as performance versus cost or flexibility versus speed, and approving or rejecting design and implementation approaches to ensure the best outcomes.
