• Lead and oversee end-to-end engineering operations, including project execution, maintenance, and utility management.
• Drive strategic planning and implementation of engineering initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage large cross-functional teams (30–40 personnel), fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities such as power, water, compressed air, nitrogen, hydrogen, and natural gas.
• Supervise maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, automation, and civil domains.
• Monitor and optimize power consumption; implement energy conservation and cost-reduction strategies.
• Handle liaison and compliance with government authorities (e.g., Chief Electrical Inspector, MGVCL, GETCO, SSNL).
• Lead preventive and autonomous maintenance programs; ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Apply TPM methodologies and analytical tools to resolve chronic technical issues.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
• Prepare and manage annual engineering budgets; monitor expenses and ensure cost control.
• Execute modifications and new projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Develop and track performance KPIs for self, department, and team members.
• Promote and implement 5S, ISO, EnMS, and other quality systems.
• Provide technical training and development for engineering staff.
Technical Expertise Required:
• Hands-on experience with 66 kV switchyard, 11 kV systems, SF6 breakers, isolators, transformers. • Proficiency in Siemens numerical relays, VCBs, VFDs, soft starters, and LT switchgear.
• Strong understanding of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with instruments such as PT, FT, RTD, TC, weighing systems, and PID controllers.
• Exposure to robotics, automated gantries, and Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, Digital Twin, IT/OT integration).
• Knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Industrial Acts and statutory compliance.
