Purpose And Scope
The Team Lead for Supply Chain Global Services is responsible for overseeing a team that supports end-to-end global supply chain operations. This role ensures consistent service delivery, process excellence, compliance with global pharmaceutical standards, and seamless collaboration with regional and global supply chain stakeholders. The Team Lead drives operational performance, supports digital enablement initiatives, and contributes to continuous improvement across all supply chain service lines
Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team within the Global Capability Center (GCC).
- Oversee daily operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Support performance reviews and support individual development plans.
- Support recruiting and onboarding. Operational Responsibilities
- Support execution of global supply chain activities, such as:
- Master data management
- Label management
- Support product launches, lifecycle changes, and supply continuity initiatives
- Demand and Supply planning support
- Inventory analysis and reporting
- Order management and logistics support
- Support timely delivery of services in line with global service level agreements (SLAs). Quality, Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance with global pharmaceutical regulations (GxP where applicable), internal SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Support documentation accuracy and data integrity.
- Drive adoption of global standards, templates, and best practices across service areas. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for global stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate risks, and improvement actions.
- Build strong working relationships across regions and time zones. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate manual steps, and enhance service delivery.
- Support digital and automation initiatives (e.g.S4 and IBP enhancements, dashboards).
- Lead or participate in global process improvement projects and transformation programs.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or shared services environment strongly preferred.
- Strong people management or team leadership experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management across global teams
- Continuous improvement orientation (Lean, Six sigma is a plus)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), planning tools, and supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with GxP requirements, pharmaceutical supply chain processes, and regulatory considerations.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision, managing & prioritising workload according to business needs
- Fluent in English
- Team player who enjoys working with people across on different levels of the organisation and with colleagues based both locally and in other countries
