Duties and responsibilities:

Person will be responsible for leading and executing risk-based audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's information systems, infrastructure, and related internal controls. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, providing insights to enhance IT governance and risk management practices. Also, person will be responsible to establish and lead the continuous auditing strategy for key risks/controls in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning & Execution:

• Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive IT audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to assess controls, security, and compliance.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls supporting business processes.
• Management and supervision of execution of Internal Audit / special reviews etc (i.e., audit planning, scoping, fieldwork, reporting and compliance).
• Strategize and manage outsourced internal audit operations and SPOC for such reviews.
• Ensures review and maintenance of the working papers for work undertaken by the team.

Risk Assessment & Management:

• Identify and assess IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data privacy concerns, and system vulnerabilities.
• Ensure quality and consistency in the Preparation of risk-based audit programs.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of business risks, processes, and internal controls of the organization.
• Provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks and enhance control environments.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:

• Ensure IT operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Stay updated on emerging IT regulations and standards to guide audit activities.

Reporting & Communication:

• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Present and Communicate audit results to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Leading the team as well as providing quality coaching required for completion of the assignments.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the audit team.
• Assist seniors in training and development of the in-house-IA team.
• Responsible for Internal Audit practice adherence for the whole function as well as developing the practices.

Continuous Auditing Strategy:

• Identify high risk areas for continuous auditing.
• Develop audit rules, tests and exception criteria.
• Develop and deliver timely exception reports, dashboards and audit findings.

Experience:
