About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader - Panel Operations (CAPI) to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Primary Research (CAPI-based) projects. This role will focus on managing a wide network of freelancers and field survey teams, ensuring seamless project delivery and operational excellence. You will be the key driver of end-to-end panel operations, including freelancer onboarding, coordination, and performance tracking, while also collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end operations of full-service, tracking, and sample-only CAPI research projects.
- Ensure timely setup, execution, and delivery of ongoing projects with high data quality.
- Align with internal teams (consulting, sample, sales) to define project scope, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring seamless execution under tight deadlines.
- Handle budgeting, cost tracking, vendor coordination, and timely invoicing.
Freelancer Management
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of freelance surveyors and field investigators through multiple sourcing channels.
- Allocate tasks, monitor productivity, and maintain performance dashboards for freelancers.
- Act as the single point of contact for field teams, ensuring continuous communication and support.
- Negotiate rates and onboard third-party vendors where necessary for additional capacity.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting a learning-focused team culture.
- Drive process improvement to boost operational efficiency and delivery accuracy.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure client satisfaction and smooth internal coordination.
Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 3-4 years of experience in research operations, project management, or panel operations, especially in CAPI projects.
- Prior experience managing field teams or freelance workforces.
- Strong understanding of market research workflows and lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Google Sheets, and CRM platforms.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work in extended or 24x7 shifts if required by project deadlines.
