Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Talent Acquisition professional with experience in hiring across functions within the grey cement or building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment and talent pipeline development for our Kolkata operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle – sourcing, screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and functional heads to understand hiring needs.
  • Source candidates through job portals, networking, employee referrals, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and vendors when required.
  • Drive recruitment for field sales, plant operations, logistics, technical roles, and support functions.
  • Ensure a strong candidate pipeline and maintain a talent database for future requirements.
  • Monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer-to-join ratio.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory recruitment norms.
  • Handle employer branding initiatives and participate in job fairs/campus hiring drives.
  • Support HR operations as and when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in cement, building materials, or core manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of technical and field hiring.
  • Strong experience in CRM
  • Good knowledge of recruitment tools and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Must have prior experience in handling frontline and plant-level recruitments.
  • Exposure to hiring for roles in supply chain, production, and technical teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regional hiring trends and language (Bengali) preferred.
