Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and the recruitment team to deeply understand the skills, technologies, and market dynamics specific to software development roles.
Translate hiring needs into targeted recruitment strategies and actionable plans that deliver top engineering talent at speed and scale.
Identify, attract, and engage diverse talent pools by leveraging market insights, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence.
Demonstrate agility in sourcing passive talent and recommend innovative approaches to accelerate hiring outcomes for critical developer roles.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing channels, refine recruitment processes, and ensure alignment to business priorities.
Build trusted relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external communities to create a seamless and positive hiring experience.
Establish strong networks through industry contacts, professional associations, university partnerships, and developer communities to strengthen the software talent pipeline.
Research and introduce new sourcing methods, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to expand access to high-quality candidates.
Leverage online platforms, developer forums, and professional networks (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn) to proactively identify and engage software engineering talent.
Provide compelling and authentic value propositions to candidates, positioning IBM as an employer of choice for developers.
Contribute to the design of creative, cost-efficient, and scalable sourcing strategies tailored to developer hiring.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of engineering talent for recurring and high-demand skill areas such as Full-Stack Development, Cloud, AI, and Systems Software.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring delivery against defined KPIs, SLAs, and organizational goals.
Monitor team performance, recruitment metrics, and productivity, driving accountability, continuous improvement, and high-quality outcomes.

15+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant focus on software developer hiring.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, assessment, and offer management.
Expertise in leveraging a wide range of sourcing channels (social media, developer communities, referrals, vendor partners, etc.).
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance against metrics, and deliver results aligned to organizational goals.
Ability to consult, influence, and negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders across global teams.
Skilled at managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within dynamic, high-growth environments.
