Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainable Finance Professional with 1–3 years of experience to support the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of sustainable finance instruments, climate risk, ESG/Climate Risk reporting frameworks, and the evolving regulatory landscape. This role requires strong analytical skills, passion for sustainability, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• ESG Integration & Analysis:

• Perform sustainability screenings and data analysis on Bank’s ESG/Climate related position statements .

• Sustainable Finance Strategy Support:

• Assist in the structuring, reporting, and monitoring of green, social, and sustainability-linked bonds and loans.
• Contribute to the development of internal ESG/sustainability strategies and frameworks.
• Estimation of financed emission of the portfolio using globally recognized frameworks (PCAF, PACTA etc) and setting science based targets on climate intensive sectors

• Reporting & Disclosure:

• Support preparation of sustainability and climate-related disclosures (e.g., TCFD, CDP, GRI, BRSR, UNEP FI PRB).
• Collect, validate, and report ESG performance data and KPIs.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Coordinate with internal teams (finance, risk, compliance, business etc) and external stakeholders (consultants, rating agencies etc).
• Assist in sustainability communication and presentation materials.

• Research & Insights:

• Monitor emerging trends in sustainable finance, ESG regulations, and market best practices.
• Conduct benchmarking and contribute to thought leadership content.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in sustainable finance, ESG analysis, impact investing, or responsible banking.
• Familiarity with sustainable finance instruments (e.g., green bonds, SLLs) and global frameworks (e.g., TCFD, EU Taxonomy, SASB, GRI).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel; exposure to ESG databases (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about sustainability, climate finance, and driving positive impact.
