• We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Delphi and MS SQLserver to join our technical support team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving software issues, providing technical assistance to clients, and collaborating with the development team to ensure high-quality support for our legacy and modern applications.
• Embarcadero® Delphi 11.3 Version · Firebird 4 (Good to have) · MS SQLServer 2019 · Report Builder Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and remote sessions. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Delphi-based applications and MS Sqlserver databases.
• Analyze logs, replicate issues, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
• Assist in software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Document support cases, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven experience with Delphi (Object Pascal) development and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of Firebird SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and client-server architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Familiarity with other RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Exposure to REST APIs and web services.
• Prior experience in a technical support or customer-facing role
