Job Description Role: - Relational Database: Support Engineer Experience :- 1-2 Years. Preference :- Immediate Joiner. Candidate Location :- Only Delhi NCR Candidate Job Description: As a DBA, you will be working in setting up, configuration, administering, and maintaining multiple production and development environments which consist of backend as MSSQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL and Mongo database. Role and Responsibilities: Database Administration: Install, configure, maintain and upgrade MSSQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL and Mongo database servers. Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve query performance and overall system efficiency. This includes query analysis, index optimization, and server parameter tuning. High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including replication, clustering, and backups. Develop and test failover procedures. Security Management: Implement and enforce database security policies, including user management, access control, and data encryption. Conduct regular security audits. Backup & Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database issues, including performance problems, connectivity issues, and data corruption. Automation: Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools. Monitoring: Implement and maintain database monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues. Capacity Planning: Participate in capacity planning to ensure database resources can meet future growth demands. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators and other teams to support application development and deployment. 24/7 Support: Participate in a 24/7 rotation to provide continuous support. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Knowledge of MSSQL, MYSQL (Preferred), PostgreSQL and Mongo database. Good in SQL and database scripting. Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., replication, Log shipping, clustering, master/slave replication). Knowledge understanding of database security best practices. Knowledge of database monitoring and performance analysis tools (e.g., Percona Monitoring Plugins, Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with cloud-based database (AWS RDS, Azure Database, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
