Role Description

Freelance Supply Chain – SAP S/4HANA & Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support
SAP S/4HANA
supply chain modules, primarily
MM / WM / IM
.
Analyze SAP supply chain data to identify
process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and trends
, and recommend improvements.
Act as a liaison across teams (Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, IT) to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution.
Develop and maintain
dashboards and reports
using
Power BI / Tableau
and support ad-hoc analysis using
SQL
.
Use analytics tools such as
Alteryx
and (where applicable)
AI/ML
to automate reporting, anomaly detection, forecasting, or classification use cases.
Ensure
data accuracy and consistency
across SAP and reporting layers (validation rules, reconciliation checks, master data alignment).
Support/coordinate reporting for leadership presentations and operational reviews.
Contribute to
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
related data/process tracking (as applicable to the project).
Create documentation (SOPs, report definitions, KPI dictionaries) and support UAT/business sign-offs.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with
SAP S/4HANA
in Supply Chain context.
Practical working knowledge of
MM, WM, IM
(configuration/support + process understanding).
Strong
SQL
skills for reporting, reconciliation, and data validation.
Strong experience in
Power BI and/or Tableau
(data modeling, KPI design, performance optimization).
Experience with
Alteryx
(preferred) or similar data prep/ETL tools.
Exposure to
AI/ML
in analytics workflows (good to have).
Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and translating business needs into technical deliverables.
Familiarity with
PLM processes/data
is a plus.
