Key Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for Strategizing Supply Chain Management Activities for Raw material, Packing material, Capex, Indirect Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics & all other Services. Ensuring 100% compliance with laid down policies, SOP, while entering contracts with the Vendors. Actively engaged in Organizational Budget meeting committee to decide Procurement Strategies for Products. Responsible for preparing Supply Chain Budget and Strategy and further submitting to Management for approval on All Procurement Categories Ensuring the Organization’s Budget is balanced as per recognized constraints. Prepares Monthly Site Raw Material Purchasing Summary Reports and submit to Management for their review. Actively Involved in Preparing Data Analytics of Supply Chain Activities. Deciding a Way for forward to build better efficiency in Supply Chain Work culture Responsible for quick decisions in Sourcing, Vendor Identifications during procurement of Key Raw materials which contributes to 85% of Total sales by, devising and use fruitful sourcing strategies. Discover profitable Vendors and initiate business and organization partnerships. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms. Approves the ordering of necessary goods and services. Finalize Procurement details of orders and deliveries. Working closely with Sales, Quality & Operations on Customised / Inter Company Sales & On New Customer enquiries. Timely submitting COGS to Sales & Initiating Bi-weekly Calls with all Sales leads, Preparing MOM and submitting to everyone Page 2 of 3 International Sourcing & Negotiating on Bulk Volumes, Imports for the products Globally, as required by Business. Coordination with CHA for smooth arrivals of Imported Products Constant monitoring of the markets, harness opportunities to improve input raw material prices. Sharing market updates/price fluctuations with Sales Heads as & when required. Keeping an Eye on the Products which could be regulated by Customs / Law / FDA / BIS etc Actively involved in New Product development initiatives along with Sales, Quality & R&D Team for all Procurement Categories Developing Alternate vendors for driving cost Savings & Single source elimination project, improving credit periods, working on optimizing the total cost of ownership for all Purchasing Categories Tracking & Monitoring of the SLA’s designed for Supply Chain Management activities on Monthly, Half Yearly and Yearly Basis Discuss with operations and sales to give monthly plan to toll manufacturers. Ensuring & Tracking Inventory / Stock Reconciliations at Toll Manufacturers. Driving Supply Chain Synergies by leveraging information from Global Sourcing Teams. Guiding Purchasing team on New Business Opportunities, Challenges, Concerns & on any other New Initiatives Imparting training to Procurement on MS Excels / SAP reports / Structured Procurement processes. Initiates the plan on Vendor Visits Annually. Deciding an Audit plan even in coordination with QA. Responsible for complete end to end Exim process. Manage complete Distribution and Warehousing operations, planning, management of both onsite and off site warehouses. Stock aging, non moving material statutory licenses and action plan to be plan with operation and sales. Management of Logistics cost, contracts with transporters and warehouses, Stock reconciliation, inventory counting, audits for thw warehouses Support ISO as well as procurement audits by customers/QA Education BSc / MSc (Chemistry) B.Sc / M.Sc in Science / MBA Supply Chain. Experience: More than 15 years of experience in manufacturing industry, preferably chemicals companies.
