Duties

• Develop and review structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software to produce precise drawings and models.
• Conduct structural analysis and system design utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools like Mathcad and other specialized software to evaluate load capacities and safety margins.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed project schedules, manage timelines, and ensure milestones are met efficiently.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents with clarity and accuracy to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Oversee project management activities including resource allocation, progress tracking, and quality assurance during all phases of construction.
• Engage in geotechnical engineering assessments and integrate geospatial data using GIS tools to inform foundation design and site planning.
• Coordinate with civil engineering teams on infrastructure integration, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and best practices in system design.
• Support project engineering efforts by reviewing contractor submittals, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in project scheduling, project management, and technical writing within civil or structural engineering environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam for drafting and document review; familiarity with GIS for spatial analysis is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as Mathcad or FEA tools to evaluate complex system behavior under various loads.
• Experience in construction processes including site supervision, safety standards adherence, and quality control measures.
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles to assess soil stability and foundation design considerations.
• Excellent drafting skills combined with the ability to produce clear technical documentation for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
