We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. Duties

• Prepare accurate construction estimates and detailed cost plans utilizing industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Conduct comprehensive site inspections to gather data essential for accurate pricing and cost control.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and pricing adjustments with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Manage procurement processes by sourcing materials, reviewing bids, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
• Monitor project costs continuously, implementing effective cost control measures to prevent overruns.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to develop realistic budgets and schedules.
• Prepare detailed reports on project financials, including variance analysis and forecasting to support decision-making.
• Review and interpret contracts to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar construction estimating role within the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in construction management software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other estimating tools.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, site operations, and contract administration.
• Hands-on experience with cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and budget management on large-scale projects.
• Construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations and project execution.
• Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders confidently.
