Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and material quantity take-offs for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost control, provide support in contract administration, and collaborate with project teams to optimize resource allocation. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from GFC drawings with supporting measurement sheets and prepare BOQs.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, suppliers, and contractors for efficient project execution.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and rate analysis (as per CPWD/DSR) and assess variation impacts.
• Support contract administration, ensuring compliance and assisting with claims if required.
• Prepare, verify, and certify client and subcontractor bills and maintain financial records.
• Implement cost control measures, monitor expenditures, and prepare progress and financial reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with standards and regulations.

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience: - Should have minimum of 1 - 3 years of quantity surveying experience in civil contracting (Construction Company) (added advantage if have experience of on-site quantity surveying and BOQ) or consultancy organizations.

Requirements:

• Strong conceptual and field knowledge of civil construction activities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift or CostX).
• Experience in billing, reconciliation, and cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills, high accuracy, and teamwork ability.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory):

• Diploma or Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• AutoCAD / Revit certification for measurement and drafting proficiency.
• MS Project / Primavera certification for exposure to project scheduling tools.
• Membership or student affiliation with RICS, IQS, or equivalent professional bodies will be considered an asset.
