Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the transformation of the Strategic Sourcing function, focusing on cost optimization, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Define and implement effective market-focused sourcing strategies for a wide range of goods and services.
  • Analyze controllable spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, synergies, and leveraging potential.
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders to improve vendor arrangements and enhance value, quality, and service.
  • Manage vendor selection, contracting, and performance evaluation in line with procurement policies.
  • Develop and track vendor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Lead, coach, and support procurement teams and property-level procurement resources within the region.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders to align on objectives and monitor progress.
  • Oversee e-procurement sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, contracting, project approvals).
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering in negotiations.
  • Support pre-opening projects and ensure strategic vendor utilization across new properties.
  • Manage OS&E, FF&E, and CAPEX procurement for projects, resolving vendor challenges proactively.
  • Develop supply base knowledge, build alliances with key vendors, and ensure adherence to compliance and policy standards.
  • Support global procurement platform rollouts and technology adoption across participating entities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and SLAs to ensure optimal cost and service outcomes.
  • Prepare and present regular procurement performance reports and metrics.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hospitality industry experience is essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance

    , or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain Management preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management at a senior/strategic level.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
  • Advanced

    MS Excel

    proficiency and ability to manage large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of

    business and contract law

    .
  • Excellent

    written and verbal communication skills in English

    .
  • Experience with

    Lean Six Sigma

    is a plus.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong understanding of

    South Asia markets

    and vendor ecosystems.
