Introduction
We are looking for Procurement Sourcing Managers with Strategic Sourcing Category SMEs, who will be leading a set of teams and directly engaging with the Client Sourcing Team under the CPO organization of a Global Healthcare Life science client based out of North America. This role will be aligned in one or multiple categories across Direct, Indirect, Enterprise, and R&D and engages in complex sourcing projects providing thought leadership and play advisory role to the Client Stakeholder. You will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing for one or more of the categories listed above driving proven results and leading a team of 5-10 members. This role requires 1115 years of experience in procurement operations.
Your Role And Responsibilities

Category execution (complex projects)
- Localization for global agreements (expertise and support)
- Contract management and administration (complex requirements, BU/client/supplier engagement)
- Sourcing/RFx management (engagement based on complexity)
- NDA/CDA negotiation (direct negotiation)
- Cost modeling (client discussions and presentations)
- Supplier performance management (client/supplier discussions and presentations)
- Scorecard oversight and category-specific guidance
- Financial health reporting (complex requirements)
- Market intelligence and supplier identification (assessment and guidance)
- Back-office escalations and support (geo-specific leadership engagement)
- Policies, Procedures and Program Management
- Lead procurement strategy development and policy reviews
- Escalate service-impacting issues and drive resolution
- Category Management and Sourcing Execution
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and annual planning
- Analyze spend data and identify optimization levers
- Align sourcing strategy with category strategy and business rules
- Finalize business requirements and budgets with senior stakeholders
- Evaluate market trends and supplier capabilities
- Document sourcing processes and ensure compliance
Sourcing Execution
- Lead high-complexity RFx events
- Create and manage RFx documents and bid processes
- Evaluate supplier proposals and lead negotiations
- Prepare contracts and award letters
- Coordinate NDA/CDA creation and legal reviews
- Drive strategic supplier selection and contracting
- Contract and Compliance Administration
- Oversee contract implementation and stakeholder communication
- Lead change management and supplier onboarding
Category Buying Desk
- Oversee tactical buying strategy and supplier engagement
- Approve supplier lists and specifications
- Review savings tracking and reporting
- Cost Modelling and Supplier Performance
- Lead cost modelling and financial analysis
- Drive supplier performance through KPIs and QBRs
- Support supplier onboarding and compliance
Other Middle Office Activities
- Lead market intelligence and ESG data initiatives
- Drive reporting and dashboard enhancements
- Lead digitalization efforts and tool deployments (e.g., OTM, Power BI, Sievo)
- Contribute to process innovation and automation
- Escalation and Request Management
- Resolve P2P escalations and refer unresolved issues
- Manage non-automated client requests via Intake Workflow System
- Execute stakeholder requests not requiring S2P Lead support
Work the shift hours to support North America time zone (6:30 pm IST to 3:30 am IST/7.30 pm to 4.30 am IST)
