Strategic Key Account Manager

to join our team

in ALTA Performance Materials India LLP.

This role is a key part of our growing organization and offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic, collaborative environment. If you are passionate about delivering results, building strong partnerships, and contributing to high-performance solutions, we would love to hear from you.This position will report to Sales Director.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans tailored to the needs of key clients.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities and align strategies accordingly.
    • Establish account objectives and monitor performance against targets.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Resolve client issues proactively, maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within key accounts.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and services that meet client needs.
    • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and growth targets.
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership:
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and customer support) to deliver seamless client experiences.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in account management best practices.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Regularly track and report on account performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present business reviews to senior management and clients.

Required Level Of Education & Experience In General

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field would be an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, preferably in B2B or enterprise solutions.
    • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts in India.
    • Managed a single Key account of size INR 200-400 MN/Annum
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Experience in data analysis and metrics-driven product development
