Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for providing world-class customer service while driving sales and building lasting relationships with our elite clientele. As a representative of our luxury brand, you will play a key role in promoting our products, exceeding sales targets, and maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury jewelry store. Also responsible for providing input and analysis to achieve the best in pushing monthly targets. Along with strong sales expertise, this position demands a deep understanding of the luxury market and excellent client service skills to cater to high-net-worth individuals.


Responsibilities


Sales Excellence:

  • Drive sales and exceed sales targets
  • Utilize advanced sales techniques and product knowledge to engage clients and close high-value sales.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Offer personalized service to clients, ensuring each client has a memorable and luxurious shopping experience.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with walk-in, VIP & HNI clients
  • Provide personalized follow-up to clients, ensuring satisfaction and nurturing long-term loyalty.
  • Manage an active client portfolio, ensuring repeat business and growing the client base through referrals and networking.
  • Private viewings, bespoke consultations, exclusive home visits for VIP clients
  • Relevant personal client database & network


Product Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the brand’s jewellery collections, including materials, craftsmanship, and design inspirations.
  • Stay up to date with new collections, industry trends, and competitors' offerings.
  • Share your knowledge with clients to educate them on the intricacies of jewelry and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Understanding of different types of gemstones, precious metals, alloys, and Cartage


Assaying and quality standards:

  • Different types of components used in jewellery
  • Knowledge on Import-export procedures and documentations, dues, charges, and commissions
  • Knowledge on certification & compliance
  • Audit procedures and requirements


Brand Representation:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the brand's luxury image and high standards in customer service and presentation.
  • Ensure that the store environment, visual merchandising, and product displays reflect the brand's exclusive and elegant identity.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the store manager and team to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store operations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales staff, helping them develop their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Contribute to the team’s overall performance by sharing insights, best practices, and sales strategies.


Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Track personal sales performance and provide regular updates to management on progress toward meeting targets.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute to strategy discussions for improving sales performance and client satisfaction.


Visual Merchandising:

  • Responsible for the display of jewellery in the stores
  • Responsible for store upkeep & maintenance only concerning the jewellery section



Qualifications


  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years in luxury retail in high-end jewelry with a proven sales record and experience in client relationship management
  • Expertise in high-value sales with an ability to engage and close deals with discerning clientele.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional appearance.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for details.
  • Knowledge of luxury jewelry products, trends, and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Passion for luxury jewelry, with a refined sense of aesthetics and appreciation for craftsmanship.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a retail setting.
