Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven State Manager to lead our business expansion and operations across the region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business development, sales, and operational leadership, with the ability to drive growth and manage cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion & Partner Onboarding:

Drive expansion efforts by identifying and onboarding new salon partners across the state/region.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of City Managers, Sales Executives, and field staff across multiple cities.

  • Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with salon owners and managers to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.

  • Growth Strategy Execution:

Develop and execute localized strategies to boost customer acquisition, partner retention, and platform usage.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Track and achieve state-level KPIs including sales targets, partner growth, customer activity, and revenue generation.

  • Cross-functional Coordination:

Work closely with internal teams — Marketing, Tech, Customer Support, and Finance — to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.

  • Conflict Resolution & Escalation Handling:

Proactively resolve issues and escalations between salons, customers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to the leadership team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Operations, or Partnership Management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing teams and multi-city operations.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in handling KPIs, sales reports, and target planning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and field-oriented environment.
  • Experience in consumer tech, beauty/wellness, logistics, or on-demand services is preferred.
