State Manager

Role Summary

The State Manager will helm all sales operations for Sales_Dextra across Tamil Nadu. This is a larger leadership role with strategic, operational, and bottom-line accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop state-level sales strategy, budgeting, resource allocation
• Oversee all regional / area sales managers and territories within the state
• Ensure targets (revenue, margin, growth) are met across the state
• Build relationships with key hospitals, government bodies, healthcare institutions
• Negotiate state / institutional contracts, frameworks, procurement deals
• Monitor and optimize cost structures, promotional spends, and distributor networks
• Review performance, intervene in lagging districts, mentor area teams
• Provide market intelligence, recommend strategic adjustments

Qualifications / Requirements

• 812 years of experience in medical device / institutional sales, with state-level exposure
• Proven leadership, team management, and strategy execution skills
• Deep understanding of state-level healthcare systems, government procurement, hospitals
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills

• State revenue, margins, growth vs target
• District / area-wise performance
• Efficiency of operations and cost control
• New large account acquisition or institutional deals
• Team attrition, morale, performance metrics

Reporting & Stakeholders

• Reports to National / Divisional Sales Head
• Stakeholders: area managers, marketing, product, operations
