About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate ServiceNow Technical Lead to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position for an immediate joiner. The ideal candidate will be a technical authority on the ServiceNow platform, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technical strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects for our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Architecture : Serve as the primary technical lead for ServiceNow projects, guiding the architectural design and technical implementation of solutions. Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and well-architected technical designs on the ServiceNow platform. Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices, architectural standards, and security Development & Configuration : Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, etc., based on project requirements. Develop complex workflows, scripts (client scripts, business rules, script includes), UI policies, UI actions, and custom applications. Oversee and perform data model design, form layouts, and portal Expertise : Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, external APIs) using various integration methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, JDBC, MID Server). Provide technical guidance on integration strategies, data mapping, and error & ITOM Focus (Basics) : Possess a foundational understanding of CMDB principles, CI relationships, and IT Asset Management (ITAM). Guide the implementation and maintenance of CMDB health and data accuracy to support ITSM Leadership & Mentorship : Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior and mid-level ServiceNow developers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team. Assist Project Managers with technical estimations, resource planning, and risk Solving & Optimization : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and defects within the ServiceNow platform. Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and efficiency & Best Practices : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and deployment guides. Ensure adherence to coding standards and promote the adoption of ServiceNow best Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality Skills & Experience : Total Experience : 7+ years of total experience in IT, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including : ITSM : Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, Knowledge Management. Development : Advanced scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), UI/UX development (Service Portal), Workflow, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub. Configuration : ACLs, Notifications, Reports, Dashboards, Update : Extensive experience in designing and implementing integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, Orchestration, IntegrationHub, and MID Basics : Solid understanding of CMDB concepts, CI classes, relationships, and best practices for CMDB implementation and Experience : Proven experience in a technical lead role, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to a team of developers. Experience leading technical discussions with clients is a : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical : Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced Qualifications : ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM or other relevant modules. Experience with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, Security Operations). Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
