Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Analysis (Civil & MEP)

• Lead the preparation, review, and finalization of detailed cost estimates for all Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components within prefab construction projects and tenders.
• Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-tender document checks, ensuring absolute accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Perform meticulous rate analysis for all building components, from structural steel and finishes to intricate HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and continuously expand and maintain a cutting-edge rate library.

Cost Automation & Innovation

• Champion the exploration, development, and implementation of automated cost estimation solutions. This includes leveraging platforms like

  Replit

  to create systems that can automatically generate precise cost estimations from government tender Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
• Drive the integration of data-driven insights and predictive analytics into our estimation processes to enhance speed, precision, and efficiency.

Documentation & Submission

• Compile and submit comprehensive final costing sets for tenders and projects within stipulated deadlines, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

Strategic Stakeholder Coordination

• Present costing details and strategic insights to top management, enabling informed decision-making and competitive bidding.
• Engage proactively with clients to clarify project requirements and deliver tailored, value-engineered costing solutions.
• Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, execution) for robust data gathering, validation, and optimization.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing cost estimation team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their technical proficiency, analytical rigor, and unwavering commitment to achieving company-wide success.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.

Experience:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in detailed cost estimation for large-scale prefab or modular construction projects, with a strong emphasis on both Civil and MEP systems.

Technical Acumen:

• Exceptional proficiency in advanced estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Cost) and expert-level MS Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement automated costing solutions; experience with scripting, data analysis tools, or platforms like

  for BOQ-driven estimation is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
