Description We are hiring Business Analyst III to lead the technical integration and automation of Amazon's end-to-end supply chain operations spanning first mile, middle mile and last mile networks. This role is part of the supply chain team and will own the analytics and automation charter spanning across various teams within the broader supply chain organization. The incumbent will drive technical solutions to optimize planning and execution while reducing manual effort through innovative technology solutions. Key job responsibilities Lead the analytics and automation charter to identify, prioritize and execute automation of non-value added tasks across supply chain teams Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions Develop technology roadmaps and architectural solutions for long-term supply chain systems integration Build scalable data models and analytics frameworks to enable data-driven decision making Drive best practices and operational excellence standards across teams Collaborate with product and program teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Identify and resolve complex technical challenges in integrating disparate supply chain systems Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance About The Team The Supply Chain team builds and maintains mission-critical systems that power Amazon India's logistics network. We focus on developing innovative technical solutions to optimize operations across the entire supply chain from seller to customer. Our team values operational excellence, scalable architecture, and data-driven decision making. We work closely with operations teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful technology solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, business administration or equivalent 5+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience 5+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition throughout the product life cycle from concept to end of lifecycle Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python or similar Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation Experience with supply chain or logistics technology Knowledge of optimization algorithms and operations research Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
