Cencora is looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our Data Warehouse Team in our 3rd Party Logistics Division. This role is approximately 40% SQL Server / Windows Administration and 40% supporting day-to-day operational change requests and 20% New development work. Working closely with the Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, EDI and Account Management teams, lessons learned from this activity will provide a foundation for growth for your career goals and exciting opportunities to take our operations farther with exciting technologies and methods. Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Hands-On experience in Microsoft SQL Server Installation, configuration, performance tuning, maintenance, and Database Administration on Production Servers
- Build out new code management, release and control procedures
- Design and Implement High Availability and Disaster recovery Solutions
- Maintain backup & recovery plans
- Develop centralized performance and security monitoring methods
- Troubleshoot SSIS package failures
- Setup up new inbound and outbound file processing request.
- Participate in On-Call rotation schedule
- Perform multiple windows server and SQL upgrades / migrations
- Work with supporting vendors, application owners, infrastructure teams.
- Be well organized and focused with good communication skills.
- Work with Windows environment for better for SQL server compliance.
- Contribute to new cloud platform choices
