Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our real estate technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing SQL databases to support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build efficient data solutions that enhance our property management, sales, and market analysis capabilities. Responsibilities:

• Looking for 2–4 years of hands-on experience required in Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and scripts to support business applications.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Document database designs, processes, and standards for team use.
• Support data migration and integration projects as needed.

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate are preferred.
• Formal training or coursework in database management, SQL programming, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with real estate industry data systems and compliance standards is advantageous.

Knowledge Skills

• Proficiency in SQL programming, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with data modelling, database design, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration and migration.
• Ability to analyse and interpret real estate market data to support business decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, project managers, and real estate professionals.
• Adaptability to evolving technologies and regulatory requirements in the real estate sector.
