Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef with 5 to 8 years of experience in Indian cuisine to join our team at Hotel Palacio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management, with excellent leadership skills.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Manage inventory of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring minimal waste and optimal freshness.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all food preparation areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
