Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in the hospitality industry, specifically in hotels and restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chinese and Continental cuisine.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Conduct kitchen demonstrations and cooking classes for staff and guests.
  • Ensure high-quality food production and presentation meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese and Continental cuisine, including ingredients, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and systems, including inventory control and stock monitoring.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.
