Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef with 5-8 years of experience to join our team at Alila Fort Bishangarh, responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and kitchen management.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Supervise and coordinate the work of junior kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, and Indian cooking techniques.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, stoves, and refrigeration systems.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
