Software Project Manager

As a Project Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions that align with strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, developing work breakdown structures, creating timelines, and setting delivery milestones. Additionally, you will facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming to ensure smooth Agile workflows. Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable user stories and effectively prioritize tasks will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, develop work breakdown structures, create timelines, and set delivery milestones - Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable user stories and prioritize tasks effectively - Track project execution, ensure alignment with plans, monitor risks, manage dependencies, resolve roadblocks, and allocate tasks based on team capacity and expertise - Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, provide timely updates on progress and issues, ensure adherence to defined quality standards, oversee integration with testing frameworks, track budget vs. actuals, handle financial forecasting, and deviation analysis - Maintain a risk register, plan and implement mitigation strategies, manage scope changes through a formal change control process, ensure delivery acceptance, document lessons learned, and formally close projects In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Trello, and Monday.com. Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, SAFe), Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies, as well as knowledge of software lifecycle phases, is essential. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, testing frameworks including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP for deployment pipelines, and reporting and analytics skills using Excel, Power BI, velocity, and burndown metrics are also required.
