Role Overview

Software Projects Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Pre-Implementation

  • Translate business goals into

    functional & technical requirement documents (BRDs)

    .
  • Conduct

    AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping

    , prepare gap analyses, and define scope of work for vendors.
  • Finalize

    project timelines, milestones, and success metrics

    in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate

    sandbox / UAT environment setups

    and oversee test case preparation.

2. Implementation & Execution

  • Oversee

    end-to-end deployment

    of CRM, ERP, and allied platforms across entities.
  • Lead the integration between

    CRM (Salesforce/Zoho)

    and

    ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC)

    .
  • Manage

    data migration, master creation, and user role mapping

    across systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and handover milestones.

3. Post-Implementation & Support

  • Act as the

    single point of contact

    for ongoing technical issues and vendor escalations.
  • Monitor

    system uptime, user adoption, and data accuracy

    post-go-live.
  • Drive

    continuous improvement projects

    and enhancement requests with technology partners.
  • Coordinate with

    finance, marketing, and operations

    for issue resolution and training needs.

4. Channel Partner & Vendor Coordination

  • Manage relationships with multiple

    external vendors and solution providers

    (CRM, ERP, Telephony, Marketing, E-commerce, etc.).
  • Track vendor deliverables, SLAs, and post-service support obligations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with

    Gupshup, Knowlarity, Zenoti, Unicommerce, and integration partners

    .
  • Evaluate new technology partners and conduct comparative assessments for upgrades.

5. Reporting, Governance & Stakeholder Communication

  • Generate

    weekly project status reports

    , issue logs, and management dashboards.
  • Conduct

    project review meetings

    with the Director / Group COO.
  • Maintain documentation repository for all implementations and post-service SLAs.
  • Support

    audit and compliance requirements

    for IT systems and vendor agreements.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background:

  • 7–10 years in

    software project management

    , CRM/ERP implementation, or enterprise tech rollout.
  • Proven record of managing

    multi-system integrations

    (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Zoho, Gupshup, Knowlarity, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with

    data migration, process automation, and API testing

    .
  • Exposure to

    retail, healthcare, aesthetic, or multi-entity businesses

    preferred.

Education:

  • Graduate in

    Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering

    .
  • MBA / PMP / PRINCE2

    certification preferred.

Must-Have Skills & Attributes

  • Strong

    BRD drafting

    and stakeholder requirement-gathering expertise.
  • Proficient in

    project planning tools

    , timelines, and agile implementation.
  • Technical fluency in

    APIs, SQL, data mapping, and dashboard analytics (Excel / Power BI)

    .
  • Strong vendor negotiation and SLA management capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High ownership, structured execution, and process orientation.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience in

    post-implementation service coordination

  • Exposure to

    multi-location rollout environments

  • Familiarity with

    marketing automation and omnichannel integration

    .
  • Strong documentation discipline and attention to delivery timelines.

Compensation & Rewards

  • Fixed CTC:

    8 – 12 LPA (Based on experience)
