As an SDE on the Engineering team, you will contribute across the stack with a primary focus on backend services, API development, and integration with a React‑based frontend.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js services backed by PostgreSQL.
• Implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs using AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda).
• Integrate backend services with a React frontend in collaboration with UI engineers.
• Contribute to gamification logic aligned with a Web3 architecture (Solidity exposure is advantageous).
• Participate in code reviews; write unit and integration tests; deliver reliable, production‑grade code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across staging and production environments.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, RESTful API development, and PostgreSQL (SQL).
• Practical experience with AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
• Working knowledge of React.js for frontend integration.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices; strong debugging and testing discipline.
• Interest or experience in Web3, Solidity, and gamification systems.
• Exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Aptitude for backend performance optimization and scalable design.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and effective communication.
