🎯 Role Overview

As Pyse rapidly expands its electric two-wheeler deployments for last-mile delivery across India and the UAE, we’re looking for a Vehicle Design & Engineering Associate to join our product operations team. You’ll play a key role in optimizing our EVs based on real-world usage, working across manufacturers, service partners, and internal teams to ensure high-performance, rider-friendly, and reliable electric motorcycles hit the road.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, operations, and engineering execution.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design Feedback Loop:

   Analyze rider and field technician feedback to identify pain points and propose design improvements

• Manufacturer Coordination:

   Liaise with overseas OEMs and suppliers for feasibility checks, production adjustments, and part iterations

• Vehicle Performance Monitoring:

   Track and document key vehicle performance metrics to inform design optimization

• Service Alignment:

   Work closely with Pyse’s service partners to surface recurring issues and translate them into engineering tasks

• Product Documentation:

   Maintain clear records of design tweaks, component updates, and issue-resolution trails

• Support Prototyping:

   Assist in body/chassis tweaks, suspension tuning, electrical subsystem testing, and design experiments

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education:

   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent)

• Experience:

   2–3 years working with EV OEMs, automotive startups, or vehicle ops teams

• Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of electric drivetrain components and architecture
• Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Ability to translate on-ground insights into actionable design inputs

• Soft Skills:

   Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Languages:

   Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
