Job Overview

Social Media Strategist / Manager


This role requires someone who is not just a social media manager — but a strategist, trend-spotter, storyteller, creator, and growth driver. You should be highly fluent with prompting, content intelligence, trend adaptation, and creative direction. Experience with design/editing is a plus, but the ability to guide creative execution is a must.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute

    data-backed social media strategies

    across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.


  • Stay ahead of

    global social media trends, platform updates, formats, features, and cultural shifts

    , and translate them into actionable strategies.


  • Use AI tools for content ideation, research, optimization, repurposing, analytics, and workflow automation.


  • Lead

    creative direction

    for social media campaigns - ensuring storytelling, branding, messaging, and positioning align with business goals.


  • Oversee content calendars, campaign planning, social launches, campaign rollouts, and engagement strategies.


  • Work closely with design, video, and creative teams to develop scroll-stopping creatives, scripts, hooks, and concepts.


  • Analyze performance using platform analytics and AI insights tools to produce reports, learnings, and improvement strategies.


  • Build and manage brand presence, community engagement, and conversation-building initiatives.


  • Strategize and execute influencer collaborations, creator partnerships, and content amplification plans.


  • Optimize social funnels for awareness, engagement, conversions, and retention.


  • Ensure brand consistency across tone, visuals, and messaging.


  • Experiment continuously - testing new formats, content styles, posting frameworks, and content engines.


  • Implement AI tools for

    content creation, editing, captioning, scripting, scheduling, and analytics

    .


  • Build AI workflows for faster production, smarter insights, and scalable execution.


  • Use AI to discover trends before they peak - predictive trend spotting.


  • Leverage automation tools for community management, engagement triggers, and workflow optimization.


Bonus Skills

(Not mandatory but highly valued)

  • Experience with

    design tools

    like Figma, Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator.
  • Experience with

    video editing tools

    like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or After Effects.
  • Experience developing creative frameworks and content systems.


Creative direction > execution… but execution experience is a big plus.


Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in social media strategy, brand building, or digital content management.
  • Proven track record of managing brand social presence and delivering measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of platform mechanics, algorithms, audience psychology, and growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with

    AI tools

    for social media.
  • Exceptional storytelling, creative thinking, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership mindset, and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Highly proactive, curious, experimental, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
